In the quaint household nestled deep within the enchanting woods of Ajax's family. Agak, the diligent homemaker, found herself consumed by a torrent of worry. As she scrubbed away at the dinner dishes in the cozy kitchen, a myriad of concerns swirled around her rosebud head, all centred around the lateness of her beloved, Ajax.
Some of her thoughts went like, "What if he found another woman to captivate with his charm?", ""Could he be taking a moonlit stroll with someone else tonight?", Her heart raced as these notions swirled in her mind. Then, as if to admonish herself, she scolded, "Agak, what has come over you? You shouldn't doubt your man like this."
Yet, despite her internal reassurances, she couldn't quell the unease that gnawed at her. "No," she muttered to herself, "I don't doubt Ajax, but I've seen firsthand how his charm can ensnare others."
Amid her endless thoughts, a tremulous voice pierced the air, calling her from the doorway. Agak's heart leapt, and she rushed to the hall, a blend of emotions swirling within her in a mere instant.
There, at the doorway, stood Ajax, holding a wounded bird that seemed to amplify her inner voice of apprehension.. "Help me heal this bird, Agak," he beseeched Agak with great misery, his eyes filled with anguish. "I've poisoned it."
Agak didn't utter a word in response; instead, she approached Ajax, conjuring a healing spell that she gently cast over the bird's injuries. With the grace of her magic, she skillfully extracted the poison from the bird's fragile body, her incantations counterpoising its toxic effects.
Ajax could feel the billions of doubts that still swirled within her. Anxiously, he inquired about their son, Aether. "He fell asleep waiting for you", Agak replied with her interrogative eyes.
Ajax understood her uncertainty but couldn't shake the events of the past few hours from his mind. He carefully placed the bird on their crimson couch and ventured toward the wooden bedroom door, situated beside the kitchen. His gaze spots the half-washed dish plates.
Ajax went inside Aether's room, with a poster bed adorned with intricate Netle engravings on its headboard situated at the corner, sliding the soft curtain Ajax silently approached their slumbering son. He gently snuggled Aether up to the neck and ran his hard fingers through the boy's soft hair with smile on his face.
Exiting the room, Ajax closed the door quietly to ensure his son's peaceful rest. He then uncovered the telecasting mirror and settled next to Agak, who remained captivated by the now-recovered resting bird.
As Agak rose from the couch and prepared to tend to the forgotten dishes, Ajax reached out and gently clasped her delicate hand with his strong, calloused palm. An unexpected slip caused her to teeter towards a glass table, seizing both of their hearts for a beat. Yet, just as she was about to collide, Agak stopped mid-air, leaving Ajax in shock but Agak thought Ajax was the one to save her with his witchcraft skills.
Turning off the telecaster, "Wow, when did you learn these power magics? you haven't informed me about those..?", Ajax exclaimed. With a tone swift to furiousness "Stop playing, Ajax. I know you prevented me from getting hurt," she continued, "with your magic, the same way you hunted the bird." Agak out of her temper returned to her stable position screaming," And I'm the same healing wizard".
Ajax, however, denied any involvement. "No, it wasn't me who saved you. You know I don't have quick reflexes like that."
"If not you, then who else could be here in our home in the middle of this forest?", Agak's tone went furious to fear melange.
Ajax stood up, summoning his blue glowing Excalibur in his hand.
"I am the one", the third warble sound emanated beside Ajax.
Both Ajax and Agak were left dumbfounded, their gazes locked on the tiny creature that could mimic the voice of a wizard.
Ajax returned his Excalibur the glowing blue sword, now rested in its sheath, its radiance dimmed
Agak's anxiety surged, Ajax knew the consequence of her temper and Agak unleashed a barrage of questions about everything. "What is happening here? Who the heck is this bird? What caused you to be late today?"
To prevent her from delving further into her inquiries and to safeguard against her impending outburst, Ajax reminded her of their slumbering son in the adjacent room and He guided her back to the couch
This time Ajax shared everything engraved in his memory. Both Agak and the bird listened intently to every word uttered by him. profound sense of relief washed over Agak, easing the tumultuous tempest of thoughts in her mind... And even the bird changed its perspective on Ajax.
Ajax cuddled Agak, with his arms encircling around her, Ajax held her close, providing the warmth of his sturdy chest, a comforting cushion compared to the plush velvet of their couch for Agak. Agak, though momentarily overwhelmed by the power of the newfound bird which was evidently proved to crumble the mining tunnel and the lingering fear of potential loss they had because of their shattered cave, gradually she found solace in Ajax's embrace.
Silence and suspicion spread over the room and Ajax's head respectively. His turmoil about the existence of the bird continued to swell with every rhythmic ticking of the crystal wall clock hung over their telecasting mirror.
Ajax yearned for answers to the mysteries that now enveloped their tranquil abode by the bird, But Agak was not ready to set him free of her grip.
With the last few ticking off between the threshold between yesterday's whispers and tomorrow's promises Ajax found himself caught in the web of sobering realization- he had neglected to plan anything for his son's upcoming 6th birthday because of those messs that happened.
He couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt for failing to make preparations for such an important day in Aether's young life. Agak could feel the change in the beat of Ajax.
When Ajax told Agak that they messed everything up, Agak knew that they needed to rectify their omission quickly. Tomorrow held the promise of celebration, and they were determined to make it a memorable day for their beloved son...
